STOP WORK POLICY
STOP WORK POLICY AQUARIS OFFSHORE’S SDN BHD responsible on the policy to maintain a safe and secure work environment againts any risk or exposure to personal harm, property damage or adverse. The company is to exercise STOP WORK policy whenever any employee (s), members of the public assets or local environment are at risk. The management supports the decision of its employee in the diligent execution this policy: Work that has ceased due to Stop Work order, shall not to be resumed until all safety aspect are cleared to the satisfaction of the employee who initiated the Stop Work order or the employee responsible for the Stop Work order to be initiated in the first place.
NO SMOKING POLICY
NO SMOKING POLICY AQUARIS OFFSHORE’S SDN BHD in recognition of Health, Safety and Environment is committed to provide a smoke-free environment for its staff, contractors and visitors. The policy covers the smoking of any tobacco product; the use of smokeless tobacco and electronic cigarettes. The company believes that smoking has the potential to damage the health to the smoker and is detrimental to the health of those in close proximity to the smoker. It also poses a safety hazard with a potential for the cause of fire or explosion. Therefore, all Aquaris Offshore’s premises and location including offices, company vehicle, offshore facilities, platforms, rigs, barges and helicopters are designated as non-smoking areas. Smoking would only be allowed in the area specifically designated and posted as “Smoking Area”. Every person in Aquaris Offshore’s premises and facilities is required to comply with “No Smoking Policy”. Any person who violates this policy will be subjected to disciplinary action. This policy relies on thoughtfulness, consideration and cooperation of smokers and non-smoker for its success.

DRUGS , ALCOHOL AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE POLICY AQUARIS OFFSHORE SDN BHD is committed to provide a safe and healthy work environment that is consistent with promoting and fostering employee’s safety, health and well-being. The company is strongly against any employee (or subcontractors) using illegal drugs or indulging in alcohol and / or other substances abuse at the place of work. To comply with all statutory legal requirements and company Safety and Health Standards, the drugs, alcohol and substance abuse (DASA) policy stipulate that is violation for any employees to: Any violation of the DASA policy will be subject to the strict disciplinary action in line with company disciplinary procedures, including dismissal and/ or may be reported to the relevant government authorities. The company reserves the right to search employee’s personal belongings and to conduct “random test” or specific test on any person where there is a reason to believe non-conformance with the above policy statement. Refusal to submit the urine, drug and alcohol test (UDAT) is violation to this policy.
